I had a great stay at Embassy Suites Pittsburgh-Downtown, enjoying the spaciousness of the room and the hotel's excellent location. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight, especially the made-to-order omelet station. The only downside was some minor issues with service responsiveness, but overall, I would definitely return.

Rooms
10.0
My King Suite was spacious, clean, and had a nice river view. I appreciated the separate living area and the convenience of a microwave and small fridge.
Service
8.0
While most of the staff were friendly and accommodating, there were a couple of instances where responsiveness could be improved, particularly regarding housekeeping requests.
Location

The hotel's location was fantastic, allowing me to easily explore downtown and the riverfront area on foot. There were plenty of dining options nearby.
Dining

5.4/10

I appreciated the hotel's friendly staff and spacious, comfortable rooms, but I encountered several issues during my stay. The reception area can be confusing due to the lobby's location on the 25th floor, and the towel shortage by the pool was frustrating. Additionally, breakfast was chaotic with long lines and limited options, which made for a disappointing start to my mornings.

Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and well-equipped, featuring two queen beds and a sofa bed, which was perfect for my family. However, there were some maintenance issues, like a shower door that didn't close properly, leaving us to clean up water on the floor.
Service
5.0
While the staff was generally friendly, I found the responsiveness lacking when I needed assistance, like when I had to request bed linens multiple times through the app without timely follow-up.
Location
8.0
The hotel's downtown location was ideal, making it easy for us to explore attractions and dining options without the hassle of long drives.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast choices were plentiful, but they could have been better organized, with several warming stations empty during peak hours. The evening reception was a nice touch but seemed hit or miss for drink availability.
Facilities
7.0
The rooftop pool provided a unique view, but towels were in short supply, which dampened the experience. I also found the fitness center to be well-equipped, ideal for keeping up my routine during our stay.

6.0/10

I had a mixed stay at Embassy Suites Pittsburgh-Downtown. The hotel's location near numerous attractions was a significant plus, making it easy to explore the area. However, I encountered issues with the front desk service, as they were not particularly helpful, and I faced problems with my room key. Additionally, while the rooms were spacious and clean, the presence of black mold in the shower stall was unacceptable.

The front desk staff was unhelpful and at times rude, making my check-in process difficult and frustrating.
Location

My stay at Embassy Suites Pittsburgh-Downtown had a mix of highlights and drawbacks. I loved the spaciousness of my suite and the unique historical feel of the building (it really did give a sense of place!), but I encountered some issues with the service and housekeeping that dampened the experience.

Rooms
7.0
The suite I had was spacious and comfortable, offering fantastic views of the city. However, I did notice some cleanliness issues, as not all areas were properly cleaned during my stay.
Service
5.0
While I found some staff to be friendly and accommodating, there were moments where the service fell short, especially when I requested additional towels and they didn't arrive. This made me feel a bit neglected.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was excellent, being within walking distance of many attractions and dining options, which I really appreciated for exploring the downtown area.
Dining

The complimentary breakfast was a highlight for me, especially the made-to-order omelet station. It provided a good start to my day, despite some minor issues with food replenishment on busy mornings.
Facilities
